I’m not a good person

AEJ: “Peter Singer (professor of bioethics at Princeton) donates 25% of his income to charity.”

Me: “I don’t see how that helps anybody.”

AEJ: ?!

Me: “I’m sorry — by ‘anybody,’ I meant ‘me.’ “

Yes.....yes...

I suggest you read Erich Fromm's "To Have or To Be"

And yet this is still a very good point

What you don't realize is that you are donating at LEAST 25%. Your charity is called "taxes" and those are going to many charities as well as a lot of fat politicians. They just never thank you for your charitable nature. You might not get into hell quite as easily as you think. :)

Happy New Year!

I'd donate 25% of my salary to charity, but I don't think that charities can do much with that. Is there a charity that gives out Ramen Noodles to the noodle-less?

says

Yes, it's a joke.

What's wrong with him being serious? Humanity is just a rat race, anyways. I'm still waiting for someone to say "What!?!? You don't give 10% to your church!?" ;)

In any case, happy new year. Highly anticipating KCF on blu-ray, and CDs of your newer works. Thanks for the great music.

According to my income tax, I'd have to steal from the charities!

Can someone explain this "thing" Logan has against me!?! I'm somewhat stymied by his continued mention of my name in a derogatory manner. John, help me out here . . . :-)

David Holsinger says

As long as we're on the subject, what does "ew" stand for in Logan's post? I can't find this on any of the text abbreviation websites. Unfortunately, I'm 65 years old and raised in a generation where we actually speak and write in complete, grammatically correct, sentence structure - at least, most of the time.

Can someone help me out here?

Fernando Rodriguez says

That's nothing compared to the jokes I've made and I'm in high school!!!
